Green Christmas 2023

Wearable Tech
We all love our wearable tech, but too many of us keep it in the home long after we’ve stopped using it! Waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) is still one of the EU’s fastest-growing waste streams. Among these items, small devices have the lowest reuse/recycling collection rates. For instance, it is estimated that 700 million unused and waste mobile phones are stored in households across the EU.
This festive season consider repairing, reusing or recycling your e-waste before going out to buy more.
Remember, the best deal is the one you can give yourself for free!

Don’t Waste A Day! recycle before Santa’s arrival..
If you are doing a home clear out before Santa’s arrival on Christmas Eve, don’t forget to recycle your electrical waste.
Items such as broken battery-operated toys and game controllers; to smaller items like busted hairdryers, old mobile phones and even battery-operated Christmas decorations and lights that have lost their sparkle!
So Don’t Waste A Day this festive season – Recycle anything with a plug cable or battery at your local electrical store or recycling centre.
Wishing you a Merry Green Christmas from all at Repairmystuff.ie and ERP Ireland!
